We designed the CARNIVORE® MD1000 dual battery electric fat bike series with the solid intention of making machines capable of eating all other existing bikes for breakfast. With the CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000 model, we are bringing the sharpest acceleration for an eMTB on the market in 2022 with the unique design that integrates two Li-ion batteries within its frame.
After the initial launch version with the CARNIVORE® V1 MD1000 and its great success in Europe, Canada and in the U.S, we are now launching the CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000, pushing further the limits of what an electric fat bike can do on all most rugged terrains around the Globe.
The new CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000 is a machine built on the basis of a very powerful all-terrain electric Fat Bike, equipped with a lightweight 6061-T6 Aluminum frame and a 100% electric Mid-Drive BAFANG® motor G510 / M620 ULTRA MAX DRIVE SYSTEM available in :
- EU VERSION - 1000W Motor limited to a nominal power of 250 Watts and 25.1km/h Speed Limit on Motor Assistance (higher speed can attained by pedaling or on free wheel) allowing its use in compliance with European standards (CE NORM).

Please Note: "Nominal Power" is the top power developed by the engine at an instant of use. It is different from the "Motor Power" which represents the maximum power the motor can handle. In this case, the Mid-Drive BAFANG® motor G510 / M620 ULTRA MAX DRIVE SYSTEM has a maximum Motor Power threshold of 2000W in its series version and is available in 250, 750 and 1000 Nominal Power set-ups. The STALKER Mad Bike CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000 has a rated motor torque of over 160Nm. Be certain this monster can ride anywhere its tires can touch the ground and haul huge loads up to 500 lbs. in weight when paired with our cargo trailers STALKER Mad Bike® GAZELLE.
This bike can be used by people weighing up to 325 lbs. (150kg) and measuring up to 6.8' (2m10) while remaining perfectly suited to less Herculean users.
The STALKER Mad Bike CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000 is equipped with two batteries integrated into its frame composed of the high-end LG® 21700 cells batteries creating a 48V 30Ah hub and allowing nearly 1440Wh of autonomy in pedal assist mode. Both batteries can be charged simultaneously via the plug-in located on the frame or each battery can be removed for separate charging. The option of having only one battery and an empty case is also available (weight and price reduction). Additional batteries can be purchased at any time.
The complete charging time is 4 to 5 hours (charger is included in your order) for all of the two batteries.
We have designed and created a machine capable of facing any hostile terrain with ease and speed. For the STALKER Mad Bike CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000 we have chosen to combine reliable and robust transmission components which remain inexpensive to maintain or replace for the user. We know the assembly and design of eBikes and we are faced with the cost of replacement and wear parts on an E-MTB. We are riders and outdoors people before being designers of eBikes. In this logic, we have equipped this model with a special reinforced chain transmission KMC KMC 132 links, a chainring of 44 teeth and a set of 11-32 teeth cassette with a SRAM® X5 9-speed derailleur and shifter whose simplicity of adjustment, ease of maintenance and availability of parts will make the STALKER Mad Bike CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000 a real pleasure machine while being inexpensive to support during services. Shifting with this set is clean and quick, being perfectly suited for use on an electric fat bike of this size.
The tires fitted to this series of models are MAXXIS FBR / FBF MINION in 26"x 4.8". These tires are particularly efficient on soft ground and the STALKER Mad Bike CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000 will know how to take you on all the tracks of stone, sand, water or snow in summer and in winter.

The braking system is adapted to the size of this machine, being equipped with front and rear 203mm hydraulic disc brakes with integrated motor short-circuit made by TEKTRO® with the model Dorado HD-E725 4 pistons with Q10YS Metal / Ceramic pads. The braking power is ideal for preserving the transmission and allowing control of the STALKER Mad Bike CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000 in all circumstances when hauling a heavy load.
We have developed with our partner RST® RENEGADE fork with air compression and allowing adjustable travel in compression and rebound over nearly 150mm.
The on-board computer has a USB port connected to the batteries for recharging a phone or a GPS. The screen allows the battery charge level to be checked by a precise percentage display. The level of power developed is also indicated on the display in order to moderate the consumption on the batteries and to control the heating of the engine. The different information from the computer makes it possible to know the average speed, the maximum speed, the actual remaining range, the calories burned, the total range, the journey duration and actual time. Speed is displayed in KM/H or MPH.
A battery-powered front light provides lighting with 2400 lumens and activates automatically depending on the ambient light level. A light sensor is located on the display and turns the lighting on.
WALK ASSIST mode: When you are faced with a steep slope and you have to get off saddle to walk alongside your machine, the "WALK ASSIST" mode can be activated by a simple push of the button "-" suitably located on the control box. This automatically mobilize the power necessary to move the STALKER Mad Bike CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000, even when it is hitched to a loaded trailer. The speed adapts to your walking pace thanks to the intelligent engine torque sensors. The assistance stops as soon as the pressure on the button is released.
A 4-Digit PIN CODE locks the system of the on-board computer and secures the STALKER Mad Bike CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000.
The STALKER Mad Bike CARNIVORE® UTILITY™ MD1000 is shipped assembled with its set of tightening tools and a maintenance kit (essential tools, inflation pump, set of patches and puncture sealant). The rear rack, the front basket are included for all orders.
